Lynda Lemay
Born in Portneuf, Quebec, in 1966, Lynda Lemay wrote her first song at age 9. Since then she has never known the anguish of a blank page; a week rarely goes by when she does not enrich her repertoire already consisting of nearly 500 songs. Her music is firmly rooted in the classic folky singer-songwriter tradition, in la chanson à texte. A celebrated award winning performer both at home and abroad, Lynda's last full length album, Du coq a l'ame, was certified Gold in Canada and Platinum in France.
