Ron Sexsmith

Ron Sexsmith is a songwriter's songwriter whose fanbase includes Elvis Costello, Coldplay's Chris Martin (guest vocalist on 2002's Cobblestone Runway), Sheryl Crow, Sir Elton John, Sir Paul McCartney, Barenaked Ladies and Daniel Lanois. Recorded in London, England with the help of producer Martin Terefe (Cobblestone Runway) and musicians Ed Harcourt and Neil Primrose (Travis), Retriever is Sexsmith's seventh album. As evidenced by the heartening response to the sublime single "Whatever It Takes," it also promises to take the Canadian songwriter to a new commercial level.
